Apollo.io - the fraudster's friend.

Tuesday, 17 June, 2025 - 07:59

I have worked quite hard over 25+ years to keep my personal email address out of the public eye.

Somehow the shysters at Apollo.io have found it and begun to publicise it.

And despite being told to stop it, the amount of spam now bombarding me has reached epic proportions. And with it ever more frauds.

When I found out who it was that had revealed my private address, I immediatly visited their website and went through their process to have all my personal information, including my e-mail address, removed.

The system failed at the last hurdle.

So I wrote to the only email address on the site that looked as if it might work. I told them in no uncertain terms that my information must be removed immediately.

I received no response.

The timing of this surge in spam suggests that it's all tied in together.

Disgraceful.

A breach of my personal data.

Apollo.io? I hope you get prosecuted and your company dies and that you are denied the right to pass on any data you might have obtained, regardless of the source.

And in the meantime, I hope that everyone who has any moral fibre refuses to deal with you, leaving you to serve only those criminals who are issuing the fraudulent mails. And I hope they have the personal addresses of each and everyone of your directors.
