The goods were discovered in Ras Al Khaimah, the sixth largest city in the UAE in an emirate also known as Ras Al Khaimah. The goods were found by local law enforcement and are worth some AED91 million (GBP20 million, approx).

A raid on the premises followed a tip-off by a company that an abandoned warehouse was being used for storage by a company from outside the emirate. Investigations found items falsely bearing the logos of 28 brands and arrested four people.
